Generals-Braves Rained out on Friday

JACKSON, TENN. (JULY 13, 2012) - The Jackson Generals game on Friday night against the Mississippi Braves has been postponed due to rain and unplayable field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, August 14 at Pringles Park.Pat Summitt Appreciation Night will be rescheduled at a later date. Tickets for Friday's game can be exchanged for any 2012 regular season game at Pringles Park.
Jackson has won four straight and are 55-36 on the season, 13-8 in the second half, atop the Southern League North standings by a 1/2 game over the Chattanooga Lookouts.
The Generals travel to Kodak, Tenn., on Saturday to begin a four-game series against the Tennessee Smokies. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Central Time. RHP Dae-Eun Rhee (5-4, 5.30) will make the start for Tennessee; Jackson's starting pitcher is to be determined.
