Ron Howard to Attend TinCaps Open Tryout

Fort Wayne, IN (June 19, 2012) - Fort Wayne Mad Ants' veteran guard, Ron Howard, will participate in the San Diego Padres open tryout on Wednesday, June 20th at 9:00am at Parkview Field, home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps. The TinCaps the class A affiliate of the Padres.
The 6'5 guard has been on the Mad Ants' roster for five seasons, and is the franchise's all time leading scorer; earning the nickname, "Mr. Mad Ant." Howard has a reputation of being one of the fastest, most athletic players on the basketball court, and he will try to utilize that ability and carry it over to the baseball diamond this Wednesday morning.
