Camp #57 Returns for Another Season

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Warm weather and summer have finally arrived in the Walla Walla Valley. With summer comes the arrival of Walla Walla Sweets baseball -- the team will open its 2012 season of West Coast League play in just 14 days. This summer the Sweets and Sweets' pitching coach, Mark Michaud, will once again offer local children the opportunity to improve their baseball skills with Camp #57.

"Little League coaches will be thrilled to know that their kids have signed up for Camp #57 and are preparing for next year with special coaching from Mark Michaud," said Sweets general manager Zachary Fraser. "I believe coaches will see a difference in the kids who have attended Mark's camp compared to those who have not."

Camp #57 is for children ages 8-18 and will run from Tuesday, July 17 through Friday, July 20 from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Coach Michaud will be assisted by guest coaches and players from the Sweets' 2012 roster. The cost of the camp is just $60 if you sign up before June 15. Campers will receive a camp t-shirt, a camp photo, and a pizza party on Friday, July 20. Each child will also receive one General Admission ticket to the Sweets' game against Klamath Falls on the 20th.

"It is my top priority to improve the skills of each individual camper," said Sweets' pitching coach Mark Michaud. "I believe that improving their skill level will create life-long enjoyment of the game."
