
Barons Announce Special $10 Upper Level Ticket for 1st Round of Playoffs

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons are headed to the playoffs for the second straight season. To celebrate that achievement, the Barons are offering a $10 ticket for any seat in the upper bowl of the Cox Convention Center any first round playoff game.
The $10 tickets go on sale immediately at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Cox Convention Center box office and online at Ticketmaster.com. The $10 ticket offer applies only to tickets for the Barons first round home playoff games purchased via Ticketmaster. No additional discounts will apply.
A complete playoff schedule will be released following the conclusion of play on April 15.
Barons head coach Todd Nelson has guided the Barons to 40 wins for the second straight campaign. This season, he and his staff added West Division champions to their list of accomplishments. Earlier this week, Barons goaltender Yann Danis was named the AHL's Most Outstanding Goaltender for the 2011-12 season.
The Barons close out their regular season with three games this weekend. Friday, the Barons play the Houston Aeros, AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, in their final home game of the regular season at 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
Saturday, they travel to Cedar Park, Texas to take on the Texas Stars, AHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars at 7 p.m. The regular season concludes Sunday at 3:30 p.m. when they take on San Antonio, AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers. All three games can be heard on the Barons flagship station, 96.1 KXY.
