Texas Legends Return Home After Successful Road Trip

Frisco, TX MAR. 20, 2012 - The Maine Red Claws boast an explosive line-up and tonight the Texas Legends witnessed it first hand as the Legends fell short, 105-91.

Five players scored in double figures for Texas, Antonio Daniels leading the way with 16 points and six assists on the night. Dan Gadzuric was a vacuum on the glass ripping down 14 rebounds in 22 minutes of action.

Texas struggled from the field shooting 39.6% while the Maine Red Claws caught fire hitting 50.0% from the floor. Morris Almond led the crustaceans with 33 points connecting on 14 of his 22 attempts. Kenny Hayes was equally impressive passing as he was scoring. Hayes allotted for 12 assists and 17 points for Maine.

The Legends were cold from long range making only three of 19 for 15.8%. Maine was also stronger on the boards, winning the rebounding battle 46-44.

Texas (22-20) now prepares for a two game home stand against the Reno Bighorns (18-23) starting on Thursday at 7:00PM CST in Frisco, Texas.
