
Bighorns Overwhelmed by BayHawks

Erie, PA.- The Reno Bighorns took an early lead in the first quarter of their game against the Erie Bayhawks Friday night, but the Bayhawks used a dominant second quarter to pull ahead for the rest of the game. The NBA D-League's leading scorer, Blake Ahearn, led all scorers with 32 points and Andre Emmett had 24 points and six rebounds for the Bighorns. The Bayhawks were led by former Bighorn Donald Sloan's 29 points, eight assists and five rebounds.
Sloan got hot early, scoring 23 first half points and leading the Bayhawks to an overwhelming 39 point second quarter. The Bayhawks shot 50.5 percent from the field in the game, including 67 percent during the dominant second quarter. The Bighorns committed 20 turnovers in the game, compared to the Bayhawks seven.
Mo Charlo had nine points and nine rebounds for the Bighorns, while Zach Graham chipped in 14 points
