AirHogs Announce Groundhog Day Special

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- It does not matter whether Punxsutawney Phil or any other furry prognosticator sees his shadow on Thursday, you can save on tickets to the Grand Prairie AirHogs' 2012 season.

On Groundhog Day only, fans can get reserved tickets to all six AirHogs Thursday home games in 2012 for just $24 - a 50% discount off the regular price.

Thursdays in 2012 will see the return of the popular Thirsty Thursday promotion, with discounted beverages throughout the game.

This Groundhog Day special is for one day only, and must be reserved in person at QuikTrip Park or on the phone by calling 972-504-9383.

The 2011 American Association Champion Grand Prairie AirHogs begin the defense of their title on Thursday, May 17, against the Laredo Lemurs at 7:30 p.m. The 2012 home opener is Monday, May 21, at 7:05 p.m. against the El Paso Diablos.
