Fukala Gets in Gear for "Faith & Family Night" with Preschool Presentation

SOUTHAVEN-- RiverKings Defenseman Kevin Fukala spoke to three and four-year old students in the Getwell Road United Methodist Church Preschool classes on Jan. 23 and 24, as part of preparations for Faith and Family Night on Friday, Feb. 3, which will feature family-friendly performers The ZOOperstars.

Fukala, an outspoken Christian, talked to the children about his faith. "I was a bad boy at one time before I knew Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior," Fukala said. "But fortunately, I had friends who talked to me about Jesus, and there came a time when I made a decision to surrender my life to him, and now he's my best friend."

In addition to the Zooperstars performance, Faith and Family Night will also feature Christian and family-friendly music played during the game as well as an opening prayer by Fukala and Belhaven University Director of Admissions & Student Services, and ordained pastor, Don Jones.
