TULSA, Okla., Jan. 16, 2012 - Marcus Lewis and Larry Owens each recorded double-doubles and Jerome Dyson added 17 points and a season-high nine assists, but the Tulsa 66ers (10-11) were clipped in overtime by the Canton Charge (10-10) by a 110-103 final at home Monday evening inside the Tulsa Convention Center.

Lewis earned his 12th double-double of the season with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Owens recorded 17 points and 10 boards for his first double-double.

The 66ers, who played in their second overtime contest in the last three games, were also led in scoring by Brady Morningstar with 21 points on 7-of-8 shooting, including a perfect 4-for-4 from beyond the arc. Dwight Buycks added 19 points and Robert Vaden scored 10.

Defensively, Tulsa forced 18 Charge turnovers and posted a season-high 12 blocked shots, including five from Owens.

"We battled to the very end again tonight and came up short, but it wasn't because of our effort," 66ers head coach Dale Osbourne said. "Looking back at the game, we have some areas defensively where we can improve. I fully expect our guys to keep their heads up and continue playing hard for each other."

Offensively, the 66ers racked up 27 assists, just two short of their season-high.

Keith McLeod led the Charge in scoring with a game-high 32 points on 9-of-16 shooting, including 5-of-6 from long range. Tyrell Biggs collected eight rebounds to lead the visiting team.

The Tulsa 66ers return to the court this Wednesday, Jan. 18, with a road contest at Texas. The game against the Legends is set to tip at 7 p.m. CT inside Dr. Pepper Arena.
