Legends Bounce Back with Win Over Erie

Frisco, TX JAN. 14, 2011 - After losing on a last second shot, the Texas Legends bounced back to beat Erie 96-90, completing their road trip at 3-1.

Booker Woodfox was sharp for the Legends tonight, making 50.0% from the field including four from long range for 23 points. Sean Williams, on assignment from the Dallas Mavericks, continued his strong play contributing 12 points while ripping down a game high 15 rebounds for Texas.

The Legends Chris Roberts stuffed the stat sheet pouring in 13 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, while swatting four shots, and coming up with three steals.

Devin Green led the way for the Bayhawks collecting 20 points on the night. Erie struggled to grab rebounds as Texas dominated the boards 56-42.

Texas (8-13) now returns for a three game home stand at Dr Pepper Arena beginning with the Tulsa 66ers (10-9) on Wednesday 18 at 7:00PM.
