Big Fourth Quarter Lifts Tulsa Over Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D., Dec. 9, 2011 - The Tulsa 66ers outscored the Dakota Wizards by a 35-23 margin in the fourth quarter, Brady Morningstar tallied a season-high 29 points and three other Tulsa players posted double-doubles to help lead the 66ers (5-2) to a 98-88 road victory over the Dakota Wizards (2-3) Friday night inside the Bismarck Civic Center.

Morningstar's 29 points are the most by a Tulsa player this season. Included in the rookie's point total was a 12-of-14 effort from the free throw line.

Posting double-doubles were Nkem Ojougboh with 14 points and 13 rebounds, Billy Rush with 14 points and 12 boards and Ryan Reid with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Also leading the 66ers was guard LaDustin Williams with a season-high 21 points and a team-high four assists.

The win also marked Dale Osbourne's first as the head coach for the 66ers.

Defensively, the 66ers forced 15 Dakota turnovers and Xavier Alexander recorded a team-high three steals.

Leading the Wizards in scoring was Edwin Ubiles with 29 points. Mike Anderson chipped in a team-high 13 rebounds for Dakota.

The 66ers and Wizards return to action this Sunday, Dec. 11, with a 3 p.m. CT matchup inside the Bismarck Civic Center.
