Tyler Timminia to Receive Jim Quigley Memorial Award

FLORHAM PARK, NJ--(November 30, 2011)- Tyler Tumminia, Senior Vice President of the Goldklang Group will be honored at The New York Professional Baseball Hot Stove League's 47th Annual award dinner on January 20, 2012. Tumminia will be accepting the Jim Quigley Memorial Award in recognition of her meritorious service to our national pastime.

Tumminia established the Professional Baseball Scouts Hall of Fame, which has received universal praise and recognition throughout the baseball community. The Scouts Hall of Fame has positively changed the viewpoint of how professional baseball scouts are perceived on the local level. The Scouts Hall of Fame is currently located at all four ballparks that are owned and operated by the Goldklang Group.

According to Billy Blitzer, Professional Scout for the Chicago Cubs and Hot Stove committee member, "Tyler Tumminia is a well deserving individual for one of our awards for all the work she has done in promoting the scouting profession and individual scouts in the past few years."

In October 2011, Tumminia completed the scout school hosted by the MLB Scouting Bureau in Phoenix, Arizona.

Tumminia will be accepting the Jim Quigley Memorial Award on January 20, 2012 at Leonard's of Great Neck, commencing at 6:30pm.
