
D-Fenders Acquire Elijah Millsap from Tulsa 66ers

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired 6'6" guard Elijah Millsap from the Tulsa 66ers in exchange for a 2012 second round draft pick, it was announced today.
Millsap, a 2010 All-Conference USA First Team selection following his junior season at Alabama-Birmingham, appeared in 50 regular season games (44 starts) for Tulsa last season, averaging 15.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists. In four playoff games for the 66ers, Millsap, the brother of Utah Jazz forward Paul Millsap, averaged 20.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Millsap is expected to be in uniform tonight for the D-Fenders home opener against the Reno Bighorns.
