
Armor Waive Two Players

Springfield Armor News Release
SPRINGFIELD, MA- The Springfield Armor announced today that they have waived forward Brandon Bush and guard Akeem Bennett in the team's first round of cuts. The current training camp roster now stands at 15.
Bush (6'7, 205, Texas State) was the Armor's fifth round draft choice in the 2011 NBA Development League Draft.
Bennett (6'3, 180, St. Francis) was the Armor's eighth round pick in this year's draft.
All NBA Development League teams must submit their 10-man opening night roster by 5:00 p.m. on November 23. The Armor will open the 2011-12 NBA D-League season on Friday, November 25 when they host the Maine Red Claws at 7:00 p.m. at the MassMutual Center in Springfield.
