Bulldogs to Play in Special Remembrance Day Game on Friday

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs will host the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL Affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings) on Friday, November 11th, at 7:30 p.m. for a special Remembrance Day game presented by Pioneer.

To commemorate Remembrance Day and pay tribute to our heroic veterans, the Bulldogs will wear Specialty jerseys. These one game only Specialty jerseys being worn by the players will be available for sale during the game with proceeds in support of the Hamilton Bulldogs Foundation Educational Programs and the Canadian Heroes. In addition, all past and present Canadian military personnel wearing official military uniforms, or with valid military identification, will be admitted to Friday night's game free-of-charge. Family and friends will be able to purchase a discounted ticket for $15.00 at the Copps Coliseum box office. Students from McMaster and Mohawk will also receive discounted tickets with valid identification for $15.00 at the Copps Coliseum box office.

There will also be numerous special in game promotions in support of Remembrance Day in celebration of our Canadian Veterans and current military personnel. Limited edition Bulldogs merchandise and player photo cards will be available in support of the Bulldogs Foundation and the Canadian Heroes.

At all Friday night Hamilton Bulldogs home games at Copps Coliseum, fans can purchase draft beer for only $3.00 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Fans must be of legal drinking age and are asked to drink responsibly.

Single game tickets for the 2011-2012 season (with exception of the January 21st outdoor game) are available at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, any Ticketmaster Outlet, online at www.ticketmaster.ca or through charge-by-phone at 1-855-872-5000.
