Canadiens Recall Aaron Palushaj from Bulldogs

MONTREAL, PQ (November 9, 2011) - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Pierre Gauthier announced today that forward Aaron Palushaj has been recalled to the Montreal Canadiens from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Palushaj, 22, has played in four games this season for Montreal and was pointless with 2 shots and an even plus / minus rating. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound forward has played in seven games with the Bulldogs this season recording eight points (1 goal, 7 assists) which ranked second on the team, had 20 shots, a -3 plus / minus rating and 10 penalty minutes. Palushaj competed in 68 games with the 'Dogs in 2010-2011, posting 57 points (22 goals, 35 assists). The native of Livonia, Michigan also played in three games with the Habs in 2010-2011, going pointless.
