Louisiana IceGators News Release

The Louisiana IceGators are pleased to announce the newest additions to our game day staff. "There are many key components, in addition to our team on the ice, that help make our organization successful," said Dumont. "We are always looking for ways to make the games more enjoyable and keep our fans better informed. We have selected 3 individuals who we feel will help our organization attain these goals."

For the 2011-2012 season Lee "Woody" Wood will serve as the PA Announcer for all IceGator home games. Woody has been involved with the IceGators for approximately 5 seasons in the areas of sale, promotions and as an off-Ice official. When he is not busy with the Louisiana IceGators, Woody can be found working at his insurance agency, The Wood Insurance Agency.

Our In-Crowd Personality for the season will be Tyler Robicheaux. Tyler is a lifelong resident of south Louisiana and is a student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in broadcasting. Tyler also currently works as a "Rock Jock" for Rock 93.7. You can tune in to Tyler's show Monday-Friday from 2-7pm.

Finally, Ian Auzenne has been named the Official Sports Writer for the Louisiana IceGators. Ian is a recent graduate of Princeton (2010), where he was Sports Director for WPRB radio station for four years. Now back in Lafayette Ian is quiet busy in both radio and television. He can be heard on 97.3 The Dawg every Saturday at 9:00am and on Sundays at 8:00pm. He is also an on air personality for ESPN 1420. Ian has recently accepted the position as producer of "Passe Partout" on KLFY. We are looking forward to working with these three gentlemen during the 2011-2012 season.
