Special Thunder "Select-A-Seat" Event Coming

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, a two-time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," announced a special "Select-A-Seat" Event will be held at Stockton Arena in preparation for the upcoming 2011-12 season on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

The event invites fans to personally view their favorite available seat anywhere inside Stockton Arena and take advantage of a special, limited time offer. Fans who purchase a ticket plan at the Thunder Select-A-Seat Event will receive a five percent discount off their ticket package and two free tickets to Opening Night on Oct. 14.

Thunder ticket representatives will be on-hand to personally assist seat selection inquiries.

An ideal night to also collect photos and autographs, fans in attendance can meet select Thunder players, famous mascot "Thor," receive a free Thunder gift and participate in a complimentary V.I.P. tour of the Thunder locker room.

Admission and parking for the event is free.

Thunder Season Tickets for 2011-12 begin at just $350 (a total of $58 per month). Perfect for the budget-conscious individual, Thunder Mini Plans include perks similar to Season Tickets, beginning at just $9 per month.

OPENING NIGHT AND TICKET INFORMATION

Opening Night is Friday, Oct. 14, when the Thunder opens the 2011-12 regular season at home against the Colorado Eagles, starting at 7:30 p.m. at Stockton Arena. The game will be a historic ECHL event to welcome in the Eagles, who will play in their inaugural game after spending the previous eight seasons in the Central Hockey League.
