Canton D-League Announces Founders Club for Inaugural Season Ticket Holders

The Cleveland Cavaliers' Canton NBA Development League team has announced that fans who make the commitment to become season ticket holders for the team's 2011-12 inaugural season will become members of the team's exclusive FOUNDERS CLUB. The membership is in recognition of the inaugural season ticket holder's support and to designate their special place in the history of the franchise. They will also receive benefits that entitle them to VIP privileges unique to their status as FOUNDERS CLUB members.

"An inaugural season is the starting point to the history of a sports team, and to be a part of that history is something very special," said Scott Woodruff, the Canton team's senior vice president and chief operating officer. "The FOUNDERS CLUB program serves as a way to thank our first-year season ticket holders for their decision to be a part of our family and to give them a platform to connect with the team that is unique to them alone."

Membership in the FOUNDERS CLUB is a one time opportunity that is limited to fans who become season ticket holders this season only. Season tickets are on sale now and start as low as $5 per game. With a season ticket purchase, fans will receive a free FOUNDERS CLUB inaugural season winter fleece jacket in addition to their FOUNDERS CLUB membership.

FOUNDERS CLUB membership benefits include:

- Invitation to Annual FOUNDERS CLUB Membership Event with Canton GM Wes Wilcox and COO Scott Woodruff and members of the Cavaliers front office leadership team

- Opportunity to Vote on Key Areas of the Fan Experience

- FOUNDERS CLUB Member Recognition at Canton Memorial Civic Center

- Attend one free Cavaliers game at Quicken Loans Arena each season with other FOUNDERS CLUB Members (one ticket per seat in account)

- In-game recognition during a Canton game each season

- FOUNDERS CLUB membership benefits are renewed annually with season ticket renewal

- Each year during the renewal process, FOUNDERS CLUB members have the opportunity to renew or transfer their FOUNDERS CLUB membership and season ticket location

- FOUNDERS CLUB members receive the best pricing for annual season ticket renewal with the ability to transfer or upgrade seats

- Access to the Quicken Loans Arena Event Hotline to purchase special event and concert tickets prior to public on-sale

Additional regular season ticket benefits include an invitation to other exclusive team events, discounts on official team merchandise, participation in special on-court game night events, access to discounts and special offers at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland and much more.
