
Stone Crabs Vs. Miracle Doubleheader Suspended Due to Inclement Weather

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - The game between the Charlotte Stone Crabs and Ft. Myers Miracle scheduled for tonight (August 21) has been suspended due to heavy rains in the area. The teams will resume play tied one to one in the bottom of the seven inning game with one out starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday, August 26.
Charlotte and Ft. Myers will play out the remainder of today's game followed by a 30-minute interval before the game regularly scheduled for Friday. Friday will also be Military Appreciation Night, any current or retired military personnel will receive free admission by presenting their Military ID at the box office. The night will feature a live "Future Solider" swear-in and other armed service related events.
Charlotte and Ft. Myers will then play a pair of seven-inning games on Saturday, August 27 with the first pitch scheduled for 5:00 p.m. A 30-minute interval will follow the end of the first game before the second game begins.
Those who had tickets for tonight's game are eligible to exchange their tickets for any of the remaining Stone Crabs 2011 regular season home game.
