
Stars of Tomorrow Package Offers Great Deal on Great Games

PORT HURON, MI - With the start of the 2011-12 season less than two months away, the Port Huron Fighting Falcons have teamed up with Black River Country Club to offer the "Stars of Tomorrow" ticket package, allowing fans to get a great deal on the season's seven biggest games.
The seven-game ticket package will cost just $46, with the first 200 fans to purchase their plan receiving a coupon for free green fees at Black River Country Club.
Games in the "Stars of Tomorrow" package are expected to be the most exciting games and biggest promotional nights of the Fighting Falcons' season, including:
- Saturday, October 1 vs. Jamestown Ironmen; Jack Campbell Night/Home Opener: Port Huron native Jack Campbell was selected with the 11 th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft by the Dallas Stars. Campbell will be on hand to drop the ceremonial first puck and sign autographs at the Fighting Falcons home opener of the 2011-12 season.
- Saturday, October 15 vs. Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings; Breast Cancer Awareness Night: The Fighting Falcons are teaming up with local hospitals and doctor's offices to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research.
- Saturday, October 22 vs. Jamestown Ironmen; A Port Huron hockey tradition continues as dozens of characters from the beloved Star Wars film series descend on McMorran Arena. The Fighting Falcons will wear one-of-a-kind Star Wars jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game.
- Saturday, November 26 vs. Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings; Igor Larionov Night: Hockey Hall of Fame forward and former Detroit Red Wing legend Igor "The Professor" Larionov will sign autographs and drop the ceremonial first puck.
- Saturday, December 31 vs. Michigan Warriors; New Year's Eve Game: The Fighting Falcons begin a new tradition as they play the first New Year's Eve Game in franchise history.
- Saturday, January 28 vs. Traverse City North Stars; Hockey Day in Port Huron/Silver Stick International Weekend: It's the best hockey weekend of the year in Port Huron as the Fighting Falcons celebrate the Silver Stick tournament with a game of their own at McMorran Arena.
- Friday, March 16 vs. Michigan Warriors; St. Patrick's Day Game: Begin your celebration of the Irish holiday with the Fighting Falcons, as the 2011-12 season nears an end.
As the Fighting Falcons continue preparations for their second season in the North American Hockey League, they look to continue long-standing Port Huron hockey traditions, while bringing their own to the table as well. With a new crop of highly recruited players from across the country and around the world, the team will compete for the Robertson Cup in 2011-12.
