MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact will play its 16th regular season game, Sunday at 3:30pm, against the Atlanta Silverbacks, at Saputo Stadium (CKAC Sports, THE TEAM 990, radio-canada.ca/sports).

The Impact has not lost in its last four matches at Saputo Stadium (1-0-3). The Impact is currently first in the NASL for least goals allowed at home with three goals in six games. In its last game, Wednesday at home, the Impact tied the Fort Lauderdale Strikers 1-1.

"There was a lot of positive through the last games in Montreal," said Impact sporting director and head coach Nick De Santis. "However, we need to improve certain parts of our play, including our counter-attack and the mentality when we give a goal. I hope there will be guys tomorrow that will take the lead in the offensive third."

It is the second of four matchups between both teams in 2011. In the first game, on June 8, the Impact lost 2-1 against the Silverbacks, in Atlanta. Mignane Diouf had scored in that loss.

The Impact has a winning record of 20 wins, five losses and one tie (54GF-25GA) in 26 games against the Atlanta franchise, since 1995. The Montreal team has registered 12 wins in as many games (29GF-5GA).

The Atlanta Silverbacks are currently last in the NASL standings with a record of two wins, 11 losses and two ties in 15 games.

However, in its last game, last Saturday, the Silverbacks won 3-2 against the Strikers in Fort Lauderdale.

"We must approach this game against Atlanta just like every home game," added De Santis. "It's an important match for us. They have won their last game will still have a lot of motivation to show what they can do against our club."

"We must be aggressive for this game because we know they will be," added striker Eduardo Sebrango, who has tallied 98 career goals in North American second division. "We have no choice but to work hard and find a way to get the three points. As for myself, I really feel great on the field and I'm enjoying everything right now."

Defender Zurab Tsiskaridze returned to the team after missing the last game, Wednesday, for personal reasons.

English midfielder Ian Westlake who has joined the team on Friday will be available for tomorrow's game.

Midfielder Leonardo Di Lorenzo will not be available Sunday due to thigh injury during the last game versus Fort Lauderdale.

Tickets for Sunday's game are still available through Admission Network (admission.com / 514-790-1245) or at Saputo Stadium's ticketing office.

After tomorrow's match, the team will visit the Minnesota Stars on Friday, July 22 (nscminnesota.com), before playing its next home game at Saputo Stadium against the Puerto Rico Islanders, on July 31, at 2:30pm (Radio-Canada, CKAC Sports, THE TEAM 990, radio-canada.ca/sports).
