Swamp People Coming Again

LAFAYETTE, LA - Junior and Willie, of the History Channel's Swamp People, were at an earlier IceGators game and had such a good time they are doing it again. This time at the 'Gators final home game on Thursday, March 3. In addition to the Swamp People coming, the IceGators will also be celebrating Mardi Gras. The team will wear special Mardi Gras jerseys.
Swamp People is a show that follows people deep in the heart of Louisiana. The History Channel followed swampers through a time of the year that is crucial to their survival: the 30-day alligator-hunting season.
Junior and Willie will be signing autographs and participating in a shoot out on the ice. During the game they will be seated behind the penalty box as well as participating in an honorary puck drop at the center of the ice before the game. During the first intermission Junior will be challenging Willie in a shoot off. Then during the second intermission the two Swamp People will be signing autographs in the second level of the Dome.
You can catch all of the Swamp People action on the History Channel at 8:00 PM on Thursday nights.
In addition to the Swamp People, the 'Gators will have special jerseys that will be auctioned off at the end of the game at the Cajundome. Two jerseys will be auctioned off during the second intermission and the rest following the game.
Do not miss your final chances to see the IceGators and celebrate Mardi Gras. The IceGators take on the Ice Flyers of Pensacola in the Dome at 7:05. Then join the 'Gators on Mardi Gras costume night on Wednesday, March 2 as the 'Gators take on the Surge. Then the IceGators finish the home season on Thursday night wearing special Mardi Gras jerseys. The 'Gators will be taking on the Cottonmouths of Columbus on Thursday.
