
Milwaukee Bucks Assign Sanders to Mad Ants

Fort Wayne, IN (February 21, 2011)- The Milwaukee Bucks announced yesterday that they have assigned Larry Sanders to their NBA Development League affiliate the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Sanders is the first NBA player to be assigned to the Mad Ants this season.
Sanders, a 6-11 forward, was drafted by the Bucks in the first round of the NBA Draft this summer. He has appeared in 36 games including 8 starts for the Bucks and is currently averages 4 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. He was a two time Defensive Player of the Year in the Colonial Athletic Association while playing at Virginia Commonwealth University. At VCU he averaged 14.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game in his senior season.
Sanders is expected to join the team in practice today and play on Tuesday night as the Mad Ants take on the Springfield Armor in a 7:00pm game.
