The Lexington Legends are looking for new members of the "Mac Attack" team for the 2011 baseball season.

The Mac Attack team, sponsored by McDonald's, entertains at Legends home games with dancing and skits, and assists with on-field contests and events.

Auditions will be held at Whitaker Bank Ballpark Thursday, February 24 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Anyone interested in part-time work - 20 to 25 hours per week when the Legends are at home - is encouraged to attend.

"The auditions are a good way to highlight the applicants' personalities," said Legends promotions coordinator Lauren Shrader. "It lets us know that they won't be afraid to be a little goofy and laugh at themselves."

"The Mac Attack team has added a lot of fun and excitement to Legends baseball over the years," said Legends General Manager Andy Shea. "It's a very visible part of the great long-standing partnership between the Legends and McDonald's."
