Portland Trail Blazers guard Armon Johnson was assigned to the Idaho Stampede, Portland's NBA Development League affiliate, it was announced yesterday. The assignment marks the 35th time in the 2010-11 season an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate, and it is the first assignment for Johnson, a rookie out of Nevada. Johnson (6-3, 195) has appeared in 28 games this season with the Trail Blazers, averaging 3.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 8.1 minutes. Johnson scored a season-high 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting against the Lakers on Nov. 7.

Blake Ahearn scored a game-high 29 points on 8-for-17 shooting from the field for Erie. He also shot 5-for-11 behind the arc. Boston Celtics-assignee Avery Bradley registered a career-high 24 points for Maine.
Jerome Dyson poured in 37 points and Oklahoma City Thunder-assignee Cole Aldrich and Latavious Williams added double-doubles to extend Tulsa's winning streak to 14 games.
Iowa snapped Rio Grande Valley's 10 game winning streak behind the effort of Chicago Bulls-assignee James Johnson who led the Energy in scoring with 28 points.
Antonio Daniels scored a last-second lay-up to break a 99-99 tie and elevate the Legends to their second straight victory over Utah.
Oliver Lafayette scored a game-high 31 points to lead the way for the Mad Ants in a 98-84 win over the Stampede.
Anthony Richardson's 22 points led Reno past Bakersfield. Jeremy Wise notched a game-high 34 points for the Jam.

37 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 12 NBA games last night, nine as starters.
Milwaukee's Ersan Ilyasova had 25 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in an overtime win over Toronto.
Toronto's Amir Johnson scored 24 points to go along with nine rebounds and two steals in a loss to Milwaukee in overtime.
