"This weekend is a big weekend, " answered IceGator Head Coach Dave MacIsaac when asked about the key to winning this weekend. "We need our stars to step up and play their best games this weekend, but we also need other players to also have their best games. We need some confidence to help us finish the games. We have been each game against the Havoc and Ice Flyers but we just can't finish."

Last time the 'Gators met up with the Ice Flyers, the 'Gators fell a little short losing 6-5. Matt Whitehead (PEN) had a hat trick and the Ice Flyers scored four goals in the second period to get the victory.

The previous night the Havoc of Huntsville visited the Dome. The 'Gators took a 3-1 late into the second period but ended up losing 4-3. In this game the IceGators' Beau McLaughlin scored two goals and was awarded with a second star.
