
Renegades Announce 2011 Schedule

The Hudson Valley Renegades, Short-Season A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, are excited to unveil their 2011 schedule. The Renegades will open the 2011 season on the road taking on division rival Aberdeen IronBirds (Orioles) June 17-19th. Baseball will return to the Hudson Valley on Monday, June 20th as the Renegades take on the Staten Island Yankees (Yankees) for the 2011 Home Opener.
The 2011 season is jammed packed with excitement as it features a home-road series against the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets) June 23-25th, a home-road series against the Staten Island Yankees (Yankees) June 28-29th and a three-game series against the 2010 New York-Penn League Champions the Tri-City ValleyCats (Astros) July 6-8th.
"Renegades baseball has been a staple in the Hudson Valley community dating back to 1994 when the team first arrived," said General Manager Eben Yager. "Every season has created lasting memories for our fans and we are looking forward to raising the bar even higher in 2011 and giving the Hudson Valley the best Renegades season they have seen."
In 2011 the Renegades will host three Monday games, five Tuesday games, seven Wednesday and Thursday games, six Friday and Saturday games and four Sunday games. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m. for home games except for the following; June 22nd and 23rd first pitch will be at 6:35 p.m. and on July 18th the fun will begin at 11:00 a.m. Gates for all home games will open an hour and a half prior to the scheduled first pitch.
