Condors in the Community: Colonel Claw'd to Visit Ronald McDonald

This Week In Condorstown:

Tuesday, July 27

Colonel Claw'd and Community Relations Manager Lindsey Ponce will be visiting the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House from 1 to 2 pm, located at 420 34thSt. Colonel will greet a few of the families in the house, hand out some prizes, and pay visit to the children next door at Memorial Hospital.

Wednesday, July 28

Condors mascot Baby Cal will appear as the featured reader for the Family Story Time hour at the Kern County Library's Southwest Branch, located at 8301 Ming Ave. Baby Cal will act out the scenes as a select Condors staff member reads aloud.

Have the Condors at Your Event:

The Condors have already had a community-filled summer throughout Kern County. Our mascots and select Condors staff have already participated in such events as the Community Support Options' Carnival, Kern County Museum Summer Fun Day, Kern County Cub Scout Day Camp, KC Epilepsy Society Mud Volleyball Tournament, and the Downtown Street Faires. We have also enjoyed visits with Norris School, Camp Condor, Bill Williams Elementary, Bakersfield Diabetes Forum and more!

If you're interested in getting any of our mascots, Colonel Claw'd, Baby Cal or Slapshot, the inflatable Slapshot Booth or the Condors prize wheel out to your camp, youth program, school or other event, call the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825).

The Condors have unveiled a special ticket offer valid during the month of July only, so you only have one week left! Anyone who purchases a new Full Season or Weekender ticket plan during the month will also receive $25 in free food coupons per seat. Purchase a mini plan package and receive $10 per seat in free food. Participating restaurants include California Pizza Kitchen, Marie Callendar's, Jerry's Pizza, Goose Loonies and more. The deal is only good in July, so act now!
