As we begin a new era in Corpus Christi hockey, let me take this opportunity to thank everyone for the continued support and commitment. Without you there would not be hockey in Corpus Christi today. I would like to personally thank you for supporting me through this transition to coaching. My love for this city, the fans and the game of hockey made my decision that much easier to be apart of this great team. I not only believe in the NAHL, but together we can provide the players and you with lasting memories. The organization continues to dedicate themselves to providing you with an exciting, successful and consistent product.

We know that many people have been awaiting the arrival of this letter for some time now and you will be happy to know that we are officially starting the renewal process. There are many questions that need to be addressed and we will answer each and everyone of those. With a new league, new players and new direction, comes many exciting opportunities for all of us. We are entering into our first season in the NAHL which compromises of nearly 30 teams all over the country. This hockey league provides these hockey players with the necessary development and exposure to play at the top university and professional levels. They are the future of hockey and are eager to win and show their talents. The NAHL has alumni to the likes of NHLers Ryan Miller, Phil Kessel, Yan Stastny, Brian Rafalski, and 2010 Stanley Cup game winning goal player Patrick Kane. Not only are their many more star players who have used this league to be discovered, but many have played at the top university level as well.

The IceRays Staff will be at the American Bank Center - Selena Rotunda Room from 6pm - 8pm on Tuesday June 29, 2010 for all Season Ticket Holders and Corporate Partners, to answer all questions in regards to next season. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
