Tyson Teichmann Invited to Canadian Under 18 Selection Camp

Belleville Bulls goaltender Tyson Teichmann has been invited to Canada's National Men's Summer Under 18 Team Selection Camp being held July 31 - August 3 in Calgary. Teichmann will join Bulls forwards Austen Brassard and Michael Curtis at the camp. General Manger and Head Coach George Burnett is also the Head Coach of Canada's National Men's Summer Under 18 Team.

Teichmann is one of four goaltenders invited to the camp following his performance at the Program of Excellence goaltending camp held June 17-20 in Calgary. Following the selection camp, 22 skaters and two goaltenders will be chosen to represent Canada at the 2010 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka Tournament being held August 10-14 in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Teichmann played 30 games in his rookie season with Belleville, recording a 6-14-0-2 record along with a 4.29 GAA and .875 SV%. He also won a silver medal with Team Ontario at the 2010 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge.
