Six CHL Goaltenders Named for National Junior Team Develop

CALGARY, Alta. - Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League, announced on Monday the four goaltenders who will attend Canada's National Junior Team development camp in St. John's, N.L., as well as the four goaltenders invited to Canada's National Men's Summer Under-18 Team selection camp, July 30-August 3 in Calgary.

The goaltenders named Monday are:

NATIONAL JUNIOR TEAM

Jean-François Bérubé, Montreal Juniors

Calvin Pickard, Seattle Thunderbirds

Olivier Roy, Acadie-Bathurst Titan

Mark Visentin, Niagara IceDogs

NATIONAL MEN'S SUMMER UNDER-18 TEAM

Robin Gusse, Chicoutimi Sagueneens

Tyson Teichmann, Belleville Bulls

Other Goaltenders:

Liam Liston, St. Albert (AMHL)

Jeffrey Noonan, Laval-Montreal (LHMAAAQ)

The goaltenders were invited to their respective camps following last weekend's Program of Excellence goaltending camp in Calgary. Fifteen goaltenders - 10 eligible for the National Junior Team and five eligible for the National Men's Summer Under-18 Team - attended the four-day camp.

The selection of the goaltenders completes the rosters for the National Junior Team development camp and National Men's Summer Under-18 Team selection camp.

Full details for both camps, including schedules, Red-White rosters and dates for the National Junior Team development camp, will be announced in the coming weeks.
