Springfield Armor News Release
Springfield, MA April 26, 2010 - The Springfield Armor announced today that a $91 season ticket is now being offered in the Lower Level of the MassMutual Center for the 2010-2011 NBA D-League season.
Averaged out over the Armor's 24 games played in Springfield next season, this season ticket will cost fans less than $4 per game and allow them to take advantage of all of the benefits that come along with being a season ticket holder with the team. Benefits offered to season ticket holders during the team's inaugural 2009-2010 season included invitations to attend private events and practices, the chance to shoot around on the court prior to a game and free flex tickets, among others.
"We were extremely happy with how many season tickets were purchased last season but wanted to find a way to get our fans closer to the action on the court while still staying within their personal budgets," said Armor Director of Sales Eric Reddy. "Providing a $91 season ticket in the lower level of the arena is almost unheard of in professional sports but we want to become the premier family-affordable entertainment destination in the area and think this is one more way we can become that."
The 2010-2011 Springfield Armor season is set to tip off in late November. The Armor game schedule will be released during the summer.
