
Cats Sign Cameron, Three Others

FORT WORTH, TX - The Fort Worth Cats have re-signed relief picher Dustin Cameron. In 2009, his first with Fort Worth, Cameron had 14 saves in 28 appearances with a 3.21 ERA and 29 strikeouts. Opponents batted only .212 against the righthander.
Cameron was the closer for Pensacola in 2008, posting a 3-2 record with a 1.38 ERA and 14 saves. He finished the season by making 11 appearances for New Jersey in the Can-Am League before being traded to St. Paul following the season. He spent part of this spring in camp with the New York Mets.
Cameron was with El Paso from 2006-07, appearing in 71 games over the two seasons. In three minor league seasons, Cameron has a 12-7 record with a 3.11 ERA.
Also, the Cats signed outfielder Jeremy Sauceda and pitchers Scott Migl and Brian Cloud. Sauceda played college ball at Henderson (AR) State. Migl played at Texas A&M and was a 34th round draft pick of the Houston Astros in the 2009 MLB draft. Cloud played at Texas Tech and spent 2009 pitching in the Seattle Mariners organization.
