LANSING, Mich. - Single game tickets for the Lansing Lugnuts' 15th season will be released to the public starting at 10 a.m. this Saturday, March 27.

Tickets to all 70 of the Lugnuts' regular season home games at Cooley Law School Stadium as well as to the Crosstown Showdown against Michigan State University, presented by Auto-Owners Insurance, will be available for purchase online at www.lansinglugnuts.com and at the box office.

"It's an exciting time when our single game tickets go on sale," said Lugnuts General Manager Pat Day. "It's the first opportunity for fans to purchase tickets to the Crosstown Showdown, the Opening Day Eat-A-Palooza, or any other home game of their choice."

The Crosstown Showdown kicks off the Lugnuts' 2010 schedule on Wednesday, April 7, at 7:05 p.m. at Cooley Law School Stadium. The game pitting the Lugnuts and Spartans has been historically popular, with the 2009 affair drawing a record crowd of 12,992.

On Wednesday, April 14, at 7:05 p.m., the Lugnuts open up the 2010 Midwest League Schedule with an Opening Day Eat-a-Palooza. For $15, fans can purchase a ticket to see the Lugnuts battle the Lake County Captains and enjoy unlimited food inside the ballpark.

"Offering all-you-can-eat is unprecedented in Minor League Baseball," added Lugnuts Director of Food and Beverage Brett Telder. "If you like baseball and food, you can't miss Opening Day."

Also new to the 2010 season: The Lugnuts are introducing the Free Thursday Live Concert Series, taking place at the conclusion of the popular Labatt Blue Light Thirsty Thursdays.

"We held two postgame concerts last year and they met with great success," Day said. "Now we're bringing in the finest musical entertainment in Mid-Michigan for a free postgame concert every Thursday night."

In addition to the returning Labatt Blue Light Thirsty Thursdays, Sunday Kids Days, and Dollar Dog Tuesdays, the Lugnuts schedule includes 17 LAFCU Fireworks Spectaculars, three Ladies Nights, and theme nights such as Circus Night (June 26), Country Night (July 10), As Seen on TV Night (August 6), Salute to the Jersey Shore (August 28), and Superhero Day (August 29).

Commemorating the Lugnuts 15th anniversary, there are three Bobblehead Giveaways presented by Auto-Owners Insurance, scheduled for May 22, June 25, and August 20.

Finally, the WILX Summer Entertainment Series comes back to Cooley Law School Stadium on three different dates, featuring Myron Noodleman on May 21, Neil Diamond Tribute Night on July 22, and Pink Floyd Tribute Night on August 19.

Single-game ticket prices at Cooley Law School Stadium range from $10 for Box Seats to $9 for Reserved Seats to $8 for General Admission Lawn Seats.

Opening Day tickets for The Clubhouse, the premium suite level seating area, will be released to the public on April 7. Afterward, single game tickets for The Clubhouse for any Lugnuts home game will become available for purchase a week before that game.
