This is what you call a "stat game." The Wave have clinched their spot in the championship game on April 4, while Philadelphia was eliminated from the playoffs by losing to Milwaukee on Wednesday. So with no team accolades to play for, players are both teams will try to make those final numbers look a little better. The Wave have won seven straight games, their best streak since going 8-0 to open the 2005-06 season. They're also hoping to close out the season with one of the best penalty-killing records in the history of the game. So far this season, the Wave have killed 30 of 38 man-down situations, a 78.95 percentage. Going back to the 1992-93 season, the best previous effort was by Kansas City in the 1998-99 season, 78.26 percent (36 of 46). Milwaukee also leads the league with three shorthanded goals. Philadelphia forward Adauto Neto is taking aim on the league scoring title. With 60 points, he is six points ahead of Monterrey's Genoni Martinez and has one extra game to play.
