Blue Rocks Are The Affordable Option For Family Fun

Wilmington, DE - The first priority of the Wilmington Blue Rocks is to provide the region with affordable family entertainment. In 2010 the Rocks are proud to announce that a family of four can park at the stadium, get four tickets to a game, eat dinner at the park, and buy souvenirs for the kids, all for the incredibly low price of only $50.
In an attempt to keep track of just how feasible attending a game at Frawley Stadium is, the Blue Crew's front office created the Blue Rocks Fan Cost Index in 1998. The Fan Cost Index allows the Rocks to monitor how much it would cost a family of four to purchase two adult general admission tickets, two child general admission tickets, park their car, get four hot dogs, four sodas, two popcorns, one program, and two souvenir pennants.

In the difficult economic environment currently embroiling everyone, the Blue Rocks are looking to do their part to make things just a little easier. That is why in addition to the everyday low prices above, the Rocks will offer a stimulus week to open the campaign. From April 1-9 during regular ticket office hours, Wilmington will offer discounted ticket prices for the season's first seven home games. You can seats for as little as $2.
The Blue Rocks will open play on the road in 2010 on April 8 in Myrtle Beach, SC against the Pelicans (Atlanta Braves). The home opener comes on April 16 with the first of a record 15 fireworks shows at Frawley Stadium this season as the Blue Crew hosts the Potomac Nationals (Washington Nationals). Every Friday in 2010 will have post-game fireworks at Frawley.
Blue Rocks individual game tickets, ticket plans, and group outings are all currently on sale. You can purchase tickets over the phone at 302-888-BLUE; online at www.bluerocks.com; or in person at the Frawley Stadium ticket window, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
