THE SKINNY:

Milwaukee locked up the regular season title with its 17-12 victory over Monterrey this weekend and secured itself a spot in the championship game, which it will host on April 4. The Wave does not have much to play for in its last two games other than keeping the team fresh and healthy. It also will look to keep a couple of streaks alive. Milwaukee is tied for the MISL's longest win streak, having won its past six games. It also holds the longest home winning streak with five straight victories at the U.S. Cellular Arena.

Philadelphia is a team that is desperate for a victory. Sitting a full game back of Monterrey for the third and final playoff spot, the KiXX needs to win at least two of its last three games and hope Monterrey loses its final game to make the postseason. To do so, Philly will have to tighten a porous defense that has allowed a league high 277 points this year for an average of 16.3 per game. Things hit rock bottom this weekend when Rockford put in a season-high 34 points on the board against the KiXX. That was the first time this season any allowed 30 points and was even more embarrassing considering it came against a team that had lost eight straight games. If Philly doesn't shore up its defense, it will struggle to make the postseason.
