Reading, PA - The Reading Phillies have announced today that the team has launched a brand new website and online merchandise store, and in conjunction, are offering fans savings on all online merchandise for the entire week. Still accessible at www.readingphillies.com, www.r-phils.com, and www.rphils.com, the new website will have a sleek and modern look and was designed by the Reading Phillies and Major League Baseball Advanced Media's Minor League Department.
"The new site will include even more great features and have a new brand new look, which we feel will bring fans closer to the action," said R-Phils GM Scott Hunsicker. "We'll have more interaction with our fans than ever before, and we feel it is a great start to what will be a great season in Baseballtown."
As part of the new website, fans will get an expanded game center, which will include live scoring updates, updated player stats, upcoming promotions, schedules and complete news of everything going on with the Reading Phillies in 2010. The new site will also include more videos than ever with an RTV video archive located under the 'multimedia' tab.
Tickets will be easier to order as well, and fans can look under the 'tickets' tab for great deals on season tickets, single game tickets and more. Also, the re-designed site will give fans easier access to the R-Phils social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and will include links to blogs, Philadelphia Phillies news and much more.
Fans looking for new R-Phils merchandise for 2010 will want to check out the brand new R-Phils online merchandise store, where you can purchase everything from hats and jerseys, to collectibles and gift cards.
