COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Wednesday, February 10, 2010) - The Colorado Rapids announced today a trade with Toronto FC in which Colorado receives Toronto's natural third round 2011 Major League Soccer SuperDraft pick in exchange for defender Ty Harden.

Harden was originally acquired by the Rapids on January 13, 2009 in a trade with the LA Galaxy in exchange for Colorado's 2009 third round MLS SuperDraft pick. This is the second trade Colorado and Toronto have completed in the last four weeks. On January 21, the Rapids acquired allocation money from Toronto in exchange for midfielder Jacob Peterson.

Colorado open their 15th MLS season on the road against Chivas USA on Friday, March 26 at 8:30 p.m. MT and will host the Chicago Fire in their home opener at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, April 3 at 2 p.m. MT.
