Annual Event To Benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central IndianaINDIANAPOLIS -- Due to expected inclement weather, the Indianapolis Indians Annual Hot Stove Luncheon, originally scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 9, has been postponed until Wednesday Feb. 10. The event will still be held at The Westin Hotel in downtown Indianapolis and will benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Indiana.
Sponsored by Conour Law Firm, The Luncheon will also still feature addresses by keynote speaker and former Indians' outfielder Ken Griffey, Sr. as well as Indians' Vice President & General Manager Cal Burleson and Indians' hitting coach Jeff Branson.
A silent auction, featuring professional and local sports memorabilia, including a matted photograph signed by Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with the catered lunch and keynote address to follow in the Grand Ballroom 4 & 5 at 12 p.m.
Shuttle service to the Westin will also still be available from Victory Field, beginning at 10:45 a.m.
