Visalia Rawhide News Release

VISALIA - With the 2010 season rapidly approaching, the Visalia Rawhide announced a full slate of weekly promotions at Recreation Ballpark yesterday.

Each day of the week will feature a different promotion, as the Rawhide look to surpass last season's record-breaking attendance.

Monday games will now be Must-Win Mondays; if the Rawhide lose, all fans who bring their ticket stubs to the next home game will receive free admission.

Tuesday games become Two-fer Tuesdays, where fans wearing

Rawhide red can buy one ticket and receive a second one free.

Carl's Jr. will also have 2-for-1 Tuesday vouchers for the second half of the season.

Wednesdays will be Kids Eat Free Wednesdays, with all children 12 and under receiving a voucher for a free ballpark meal.

Fans can also pick up 2-for-1 ticket vouchers at participating Chevron & Texaco stations, making Wednesday games an even better bargain!

The ever-popular Thirsty Thursday returns in 2010, as beer and soda will still cost a single dollar from 6-8 PM on Thursday nights.

Fireworks Fridays are also back! Each of the Rawhide's Friday home games will feature a postgame fireworks spectacular, just as they have for the last two years. Fridays at the ballpark have become an institution in Tulare County; sellouts for the winning combination of baseball and pyrotechnics are common, and promise to continue their popularity.

Souvenir Saturdays, meanwhile, will give each of the first 1000 fans through the gates a free take-home item, ranging from t-shirts to bobbleheads. The Rawhide barbeque pit will also be fired up on Saturdays for hungry carnivores, serving up an assortment of smoky vittles.

Finally, Family Fun Sundays are designed to give families a thoroughly affordable day out. By bringing a weekly coupon from the Visalia Times-Delta, fans can purchase a Family 4-Pack: 4 tickets in the grass Pasture, 4 Kids Area tokens, 4 hot dogs, and 2 scorecards...all for just $20!

The Rawhide are committed to combating the difficult economy by being the best entertainment value in Tulare County, no matter which day you come out to the park. Single Game tickets go on sale March 15th!
