FORT MILL, S.C. - February 1, 2010 - The field at Knights Stadium is covered in snow, but in just 60 days, the boys of summer will return! The Charlotte Knights will host their parent club, the Chicago White Sox, on April 1 at 7 p.m. in a Major League exhibition game. It will be the first MLB exhibition in 9 years. Single game tickets for the game are on sale now by calling the box office at (704) 357-8071 or at www.charlotteknights.com.
The Knights will open their home schedule on Thursday, April 15 at 7:15 p.m. against the Gwinnett Braves. The Knights open the International League season with a 7-game road trip before beginning their first home stand of the 2010 season with four games against the Braves and two games against the Durham Bulls.
