
Birmingham Barons Announce Home Game Times

HOOVER, AL - The Birmingham Barons released the times for their 2010 home schedule on Wednesday. As in years past, most game times will begin at 7:05 p.m. with exception to weekend games. For the first time, the Barons will start Saturday night games at 6:30 p.m. Sunday contests will once again be played at 2:05 p.m. during the first half of the season and 5:05 p.m. during the season's second half. The 15th Annual Rickwood
Classic Presented by State Farm Insurance, to be held on Wednesday, June, 2, will have a 12:30 p.m. start time.

In addition to the Rickwood Classic, four other Wednesday games will feature midday start times. April 21, May 19, June 16 and June 30 are all scheduled for 11:05 a.m. start times. The season will end on Monday, September 6 with a 12:30 p.m. game against the Mississippi Braves.
A full promotional calendar with featured giveaways and entertainers will be released in mid-March. Individual game tickets will go on sale in mid-March as well. Season tickets and mini-plans are currently being sold.
The Birmingham Barons will host the Tennessee Smokies in the 15th Annual Rickwood Classic Presented by State Farm Insurance on Wednesday, June 2. The 12:30 p.m. game will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rickwood Field's opening. Tickets to the event are currently being sold online, over the phone of by visiting the Joe Drake Ticket Office at Regions Park.
The Barons will welcome the Carolina Mudcats, Class AA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, to Regions Park for its season opener on April 8, 2010. First pitch is set for 7:05 pm.
