PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs mascot Burnie and Sundogs players Steve Potvin, Kyle Hood, Nick Biondo, Joey Sides and J.F. Perras joined kids from Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters to help kick-off Bowl for Kids' Sake 2010 Wednesday afternoon at Antelope Lanes in Prescott Valley.
YBBBS and Burnie will officially launch Bowl for Kids' Sake 2010, Yavapai County's largest fundraiser for kids, this Saturday at 1:00pm at Antelope Lanes in Prescott Valley.
Last year the event involved more than 15,000 people and raised over $200,000. All funds raised go directly to matching our communities' most vulnerable boys and girls with a Big Brother or Big Sister.
Individuals interested in participating in this year's Bowl for Kids' Sake event are encouraged to stop by Saturday's kick-off event between 1:30-3:30pm to sign-up or to receive more information. Bowl for Kids' Sake 2010 will be held on February 27 and 28 and March 6 and 7.
For more information or to become a Big Brother or Big Sister, please call Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters at 928-778-5135, or visit www.azbigs.org.
