BayHawks Drop a Tough One to The Mad Ants

ERIE - The Erie BayHawks (6-12) dropped a nail biter to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 89 - 87 at the Tullio Arena.
The Mad Ants led from the start and never relinquished lead despite being outscored in the final quarter 30 - 25. Ron Howard led all Fort Wayne scorers with a game high 22 points. Jared Reiner added a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
For the BayHawks newcomer Mike Gansey continued his hot hand notching another double-double in leading all BayHawks scorers with 19 points including a 3 pointer at the buzzer and adding 10 rebounds.
Jackie Manuel also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. John Bryant had a strong finish with 13 points in the final quarter and 17 points overall.
The BayHawks home stand continues as they square off against the Mad Ants, Sunday afternoon in a 2 PM tipoff. The game will air live on WFNN 1330 AM and stream free on the NBA Futurecast link from ErieBayHawks.com.
