San Jose Sharks Reassign Forwards Frazer McLaren And Jamie McGinn To Worcester

December 14, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Worcester Sharks News Release


SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned forwards Frazer McLaren and Jamie McGinn to the Worcester Sharks, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

McLaren has played in 16 games with San Jose, posting three points (one goal, two assists), a plus-four rating and 44 penalty minutes.

The six-foot-four, 235 pound Winnipeg, Manitoba native was originally selected by San Jose in the seventh round (203rd overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

McGinn has appeared in 28 games with the Sharks, notching five goals and 14 penalty minutes.

The six-foot, 185-pound native of Fergus, Ontario native was originally selected by San Jose in the second round (36th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
