Springfield, MA November 19, 2009 - Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Springfield Armor General Manager, Alex Schwerin, will hold a press conference on Thursday, November 19th, 2009, at 2:30 p.m., at the MassMutual Center to promote their first home game ever in franchise history on Friday, November 27th played at the MassMutual Center as they take on the Iowa Energy at 7 p.m.Opening Night, proudly presented by Six Flags of New England, will be a red carpet event complete with non-stop family-style entertainment, along with contest opportunities, giveaways and much more for those in attendance. Six Flags of New England will be bringing along many familiar characters to greet fans as they enter the arena. Also featured in this historic event is a pre-game presentation involving the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, and at halftime, The Workshop, a dance group out of Springfield, MA, will perform.
