Adirondack Phantoms News Release

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that the Flyers have recalled right wing David Laliberte from Adirondack.

Laliberte, 23, will join the Flyers on their five-game road trip and be available for the Flyers-Kings game on Wednesday. He has two goals and three points in four contests with the Flyers after he made his NHL debut on Oct. 31 vs. Carolina Hurricanes, where he recorded a goal and an assist.

A native of St-Liboire, Quebec, Laliberte has two goals and five assists for seven points in 10 games with the Phantoms this season. His seven points are tied for third on Adirondack in scoring and his most recent goal came during the Phantom's 3-2 shootout win over Bridgeport last Saturday. In parts of three seasons of play in the AHL (2007-08 to 2009-10), Laliberte has recorded 64 points (33 goals, 31 assists) and 66 penalty minutes in 107 games, all with the Phantoms.

He was originally selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (124th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three-year entry level contract with the Flyers on May 17, 2007.

Adirondack will complete their three-game home stand on Wednesday, November 18th as they host the Toronto Marlies for a 7:00 pm face off at the Glens Falls Civic Center; it will be the Marlies' only to Glens Falls this season.

The Time Warner Cable Cup Four-Pack is now on sale at the Phantoms office, starting as low as $56. 2009-10 Phantoms full and partial season ticket packages are still available for the 2009-10 season presented by Bud Light.
