Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
FORT MYERS, FL (November 3, 2009) - The Ft. Myers Miracle announced today that Linda McNabb, who has held the title of President of the Miracle since 2002, will be leaving the team at the end of this month to pursue other opportunities. McNabb first joined the Miracle staff prior to the 1995 season as an account executive, became Director of Sales in 1996 and thereafter moved up in the organization until being appointed President, with a primary focus continuing throughout on marketing and sales.
According to Miracle EVP / General Manager, Steve Gliner, "Linda has been a tremendous support since I came to the Miracle as GM in 2004 and we will miss her contributions, in terms of both sales and her mentoring of the Miracle staff in all areas. The entire organization joins me in wishing Linda the best as she embarks on a new direction in her career."
These comments were echoed by Miracle principal owner and Chairman, Marv Goldklang, who said, "I've always considered Linda to be a friend as well as an employee. There comes a time when people need to move on to new challenges and, while both the Miracle and I will miss Linda's presence and contributions, we are proud of the role we have played in her career."
